looking for better instructions fo installing beko dishwasher

well, for me the best part of this video is runaib saying the light has failed three times. that means I'm not even going to bother fixing it! mine is barely out of warranty and handle fell off the bottom rack (seemed to be "cooked off" by the heated dryer element). Now the light stopped working but it's not as if the piece of crap is as quiet as a Bosch: I don't need a light to know it's running! I only bought a Beko because supply chain problems in 2020/2021 made it impossible to get a Bosch or a Miele. I installed it before my new cabinets arrived and used it without the door panel; had to keep a 5 lb. dumbbell on the door to keep it open! (a Miele would have adjustable tension) even with the door panel on it starts to creep up. I'm in no hurry to spend the money but when this Beko bites the dust I will definitely be buying a Bosch or a Miele!

I am watching this at 4am and you may have solved my issue! I have the slimline Beko and hoping when I get up I see these feet as it’s too tall with the brown feet. It has also flooded the kitchen each time I tested it but no kinks in the pipes so unsure on that part, unless it’s the height but at least I know I didn’t that but correct lol

Thank you so much for this video, clear, very well explained and far better than the Beko videos. The installation booklet (for DIN 16430) is appalling - very small illustrations, no text and no explanation of what some parts are for or when to fit them. Our dishwasher door came with the plastic clip frame already fitted (10 years ago) so we wanted to use it on the new 16430 model. Beko were very unhelpful and said I shouldn't 'modify' the way the door is fitted, I should use the fittings supplied. So thanks again for your brilliant instructions.

Thanks a lot! We just cut the diode and isolated the wires, hope that works because the light was causing a short circuit.

Loved the video and it gave me the idea to see if it was possible to buy just the LED with tails and it is, tested the wires and they run at 5v, so did a search for pre wired LED 5v. I'm not too sure if LEDS are polarity conscious but what I did notice is the white wire has the resister in it. So, when fitting the new LED I found that red+ from LED goes to white on the dishwasher and black- on the LED goes to the green on the dishwasher. Hope this helps

After 2.5 years use red light stopped working and Beko informed me that the machine was out of warranty. After four years use my fuse box kept tripping off socket circuits intermittenly. We could not identify which appliance was causing it because it was very random and driving us crazy. Last week same problem but this time one by one we unplugged all the appliances and one by one we plugged them back and when we connected the Beko plug fuse box tripped off ( although machine was off) , at last we knew Beko was the culprit , so we kept the plug pulled out , end of our fuse box problem but a dead machine. We informed our electrician and he just told us to scrap the machine not to waste money and time on it. Got in touch with Beko , as the machine was four years old and no warranty, they were not interested

What is the preferred height of the machine? Presumably close to the underside of the worktop as is practical

My new door is not staying its going back

Doesn't the flap on the bottom of the dishwasher block the light?? We have a different type of dishwasher but same led light. Because of the flap on the bottom we cannot see the light properly.

However after watching your videos a few times and going through the manual at the same time it suddenly all made sense. Thank you once more, your help was sincerely appreciated.

What looks really good is if you stick this flag style badge on the hood and then convert the flat blade grille to one with the Mercedes star symbol. That's what I'm in the process of doing to mine.

this emblem doesnt even properly fit in.. horrible

7:28 the latest model don't come with that plastic fitting for the door anymore, the paperwork shown it in a picture and the dishwasher itself still has the square holes for it to fit too, but now it just has two round grommets and two screws for lower down. I was in the store (Currys) for nearly an hour trying to work out where that plastic fitting was, even the manager didn't know until we worked it out ourselves, but you can still use that fitting it's just no longer supplied, everything else is the same as in your video.

I believe the foam seal for the bottom only needs to go on if the dishwasher is flat on the floor to act as a moisture barrier
